Role Description

Join a growing team revolutionizing AI-driven therapeutic discovery! 310 AI is seeking a Principal Scientist to spearhead external collaborations and drive internal scientific innovation and programs. The candidate will act as the point of contact and interface between external partners and internal AI and software engineering teams. The candidate will be responsible for researching specific biological problems, developing a project plan, and communicating objectives for each partnership to the larger project team. Furthermore, the candidate will provide general scientific expertise and leadership, identifying key experiments, analysis, and mentorship as needed.

Requirements

• PhD in Biological Sciences, with specific concentrations in protein design, structural biology, or synthetic biology.
• 3-5 years of experience in therapeutic development, with a deep understanding of the drug design process.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Track experimental progress of 310-designed molecules and curate datasets for iterative refinement.
• Manage relationships with partners and contract research organizations.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for solving problems, growing businesses, and building teams.
